The Wine, Women and Shoes event to benefit Impact Oklahoma will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 25 at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.
Elaine Honig, a native Oklahoman, created the Wine, Women and Shoes event 11 years ago to help nonprofits such as Impact Oklahoma to raise money while promoting the wine of Napa Valley. Started as a unique event in Napa Valley, the license eventually spread to 66 cities across the United States and Canada.
“It (the first Wine, Women and Shoes event) was a huge success, and people started asking me if they could bring it to their city,” Honig said. “So, I started helping people plan it, figuring out how to make it better year after year.” READ MORE ON NEWSOK.COM
