The South Central Climate Science Center receives environmental award

NORMAN, Okla. – As the “Adoption of the Paris Agreement” signed on Dec. 12th by nearly 200 countries to limit the global warming, one US agency didn’t wait the COP21 to start to deal with the climate change.

The Department of Interior (DOI) has recompensed the South Central Climate Science Center (SCCSC) of the 2015 Environmental Achievement Awards in the category “Climate Science and Partnerships–Increasing the Tribal Capacity for Climate Change Adaptation.”
